“Part X - is the invisible force that wants to keep you from changing or growing; it wants to fuck up your shit”
Stutz
Recently I watched Stutz on Netflix, and I am compelled to share the recommendation with you. There are some very no-nonsense straight-to-it tools that I think are very practical and helpful. If you aim at becoming slightly better every day, then this is 90 mins worth spending. Link to the trailer below.
These are the parts I most appreciated from the film:
Part X - is the invisible force that wants to keep you from changing or growing. In Stutz's words, “it wants to fuck up your shit”
String of Pearls - explains the importance of moving forward in life (like adding the next pearl to the string) but valuing each pearl the same and understanding there is a “turd” in every pearl.
3 Aspects of Reality - Everybody has to come to terms with the pain will never go away, uncertainty will never go away, and there is no getting away from the need for constant work.
The Maze - it always involves other people, and your quest for fairness puts your life on hold.
“The average person wants to get paid back. They want everything to be fair. They want everything to be balanced.”
